If you are HIV negative:

Keep using a condom
PrEP
If you have a situation where you are unable to use a condom, you can use PrEP (Pre- Exposure Prophylaxis) which can prevent you from getting HIV.
Test frequently
Get tested every 3 months for HIV so you know your status.

If you are HIV positive:

Keep using a condom
Visit the clinic to get treatment
Take ARVs
The sooner you start HIV treatment, the stronger your body and immune system will become.
Take your ARVs every day (as prescribed by your HCP)
Go for blood tests. The HCP will tell you when to return to the clinic to get the test results. These are important to see how the ARV treatment is working in your body.

Keep taking your ARVs every day.
